Fir Trees + Removal

BALSAM FIRS (Premium) have dark-green needles and are known for their strong, fresh scent often used in candles. They grow faster than Fraser trees, resulting in fuller width and shape at smaller heights. The branches may not support heavier ornaments, but they are softer and more flexible. 

FRASER FIRS (Premium) have a beautiful shape, strong branches, and two-tone dark green needles with a silver sparkle underneath. They retain their needles well throughout the holiday season and have a mild Christmas scent. They grow slower and are more slender than Balsam trees at shorter heights.

Tree stands are not included, and must be purchased or rented,, or supplied by the customer.

Tree Setup is an optional add-on.  It includes setting up the tree in the stand, removing all netting, adding water and basic clean up (sweep up needles, etc).

Tree Removal/Recycling is an optional add-on. We strongly recommend ordering at the time of purchase, as prices do increase after the holiday. 

**Our 10ft+ trees are ordered in limited quantities and offered to prior year customers first. We conslidate our deliveries to a few dates, as they often require a 3rd person due to the size.

• Before December 26: Removal service is only offered when paired with a City Tree purchase. Orders placed without a tree will be cancelled.

• Starting December 26: Curbside removal may be purchased as a standalone service (subject to capacity and updated seasonal pricing).

Suburban Removal should be ordered on the corresponding delivery days:

Tuesdays/Saturday - West Suburbs

Wednesday/Sunday - Northwest Suburbs

Thursday/Sunday - North Suburbs

Friday/Saturday - Southeast Chicago

We confirm a 2-3 hour removal timeslot via text/email/call at least 1 day in advance of tree removal. Please respond upon receipt to  confirm timeslot.

In-Home Tree Removal includes taking the tree out of the stand, and removing it from the house. Our delivery crew will perform a basic sweep of the area around the tree. Curbside Removal includes picking up the tree from outside your residence and taking it to get mulched. In Chicago, we take your tree to the recycling facility. For the suburbs, the tree will be placed on your curb / trash location to be properly disposed using the townships program.

Neither service includes taking off ornaments, lights, etc.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING REMOVAL AT THE TIME OF TREE PURCHASE ($39.95 curbside or $54.95 /inside home for trees up 10ft). Removal orders placed after Christmas are pending capacity and the price of removal will increase ($59.95 curbside and $109.95/ inside home).  Please have all lights, ornaments, etc. removed from your tree prior to our arrival. Light removal must be purchased separately from installation for $9.95 per strand.
